Photonis Defense Inc. awarded Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division contractMarch 7, 2022 / News March 3, 2022 Lancaster, Pennsylvania USA Photonis Defense designs and manufactures high power, broad band microwave power amplifiers, combining both vacuum electronics and solid-state technologies. Photonis Defense Inc., Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is awarded a $38,888,940 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. This contract provides for the production, testing, and delivery of amplifier microwave power modules, as well as the related hardware evaluation, repair, and modifications in support of electronic attack threat simulator systems for the Navy. Work will be performed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is expected to be completed in March 2027. No funds will be obligated at the time of award; funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued. This contract was competitively procured via an electronic request for proposal; two offers were received.
